On Ash Wednesday, February 14, 2018 Brother Dan Flaherty, also a member of the St. Cecilia Chapter of the LIFE Runners, Rockaway, NJ joined fellow Catholics and LIFE Runners in kicking off the east coast start of the Across America Relay for Life. The nationwide pro-life relay and fundraiser against legalized abortion aims to complete an overall total of 5,564 miles in the 40 days through Lent raising funds to combat abortion and to bring awareness to this national tragedy in hopes of changing hearts. The Long Valley Council was able to contribute nearly $300.00 to this very important pro-life relay on very short notice. Great job Knights and kudos to all of the LIFE Runners for their efforts.
